Paul started his career in New York as a shooter, getting gigs with his hand-cranked Bolex and shooting for MTV and music videos. Videos led to commercials. And commercials led to Los Angeles.
In Los Angeles he made the long sought after transition to directing. As a director/cameraman he combined his love of camera movement with his flare for directing character and drama.
As television began demanding a glossier commercial look, Holahan was tapped for hour-long dramatic television where is work with actors proved him a talented director.

Directing one hour network and cable television shows for CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX and USA gives Paul the opportunity to flex his storytelling muscles.
Recent directing work includes Manifest, The Last Ship, Blacklist, Man in the High Castle, CSI, Unforgettable, Castle, Graceland, White Collar, Fringe, Ugly Betty, The Mentalist, Fairly Legal and Burn Notice.
Holahan also works as a Producer / Director where he adds his creative stamp to the production. Past shows as a Producer/Director include Manifest, The Last Ship, Fairly Legal, Without A Trace, In Justice, and The Ex List.
